Jon Daniel was a close friend for almost 40 years. As well as designing The National Vintage Games logo, he was a valuable source of support when I wanted to develop the idea for an over-50s tournament. A force of nature, his humour and passion were infectious. I hope that The National Vintage Games does justice to his spirit, and enthusiasm for life.
