Patron of The National Vintage Games

Sharron Davies is a household name. She is a former competitive swimmer who represented Great Britain at Olympics and European Championships, and competed for England at the Commonwealth Games. She won two gold medals at the 1978 Commonwealth games in Edmonton, and a silver medal at the 1980 Moscow Olympics. Sharron has been a British champion on 20 occasions and has broken 200 British swimming records and five World Masters records.

Since retiring from her sport, she has worked as a television presenter and served as a patron of charities for disabled children and fitness. Sharron also launched Swim For Life, which has raised millions of pounds for various good causes. Her enduring commitment to sport for all ages, and experience of peak fitness, makes her the ideal patron for our event. Thank you Sharron, it is wonderful to have you on board.
